It was 20 years ago that Stork Custom

     Mouthpieces opened its doors overlooking

     Broadway on West 48th Street. John Stork

     had spent the prior 5 years working as the custom

     mouthpiece man at Giardinelli's Brass Pro Shop.

     During that time he developed a working knowledge

     of every mouthpiece design popular among the very

     finest brass men of the day. Many of the existed only

     as "custom duplications", meaning they had never

     been made into mass produced models. They were

     popular mainly among the major symphonic players,

     studio players or jazz soloists of the time as well their

     peers and their students. Some models made it to

    "stock" status, but are no longer produced today.

    Over the years we have made many copies of these

    pieces for "those in the know" throughout the world.

    We have finally decided to offer these models as limited edition duplications.

    Each mouthpiece is hand crafted by John Stork to original specifications. Each design brings with it a      

    long tradition of excellence in performance having been handed down over generations...

    from Master to pupil.
